YOUR PRIVACY, EXPLAINED SIMPLY

Privacy policy.

Your daily plans are personal. This page explains what Dayweave keeps, what it can read on your phone, and what happens when you choose to share something.

For: Dayweave for Android   ·   Last updated: September 23, 2026

1. Where do my plans go?

Your tasks, notes, routines, daily plans, focus sessions and progress are saved on your phone. We do not run an account service or a server that receives your personal planner entries. You can use the planner without signing in.

2. Does Dayweave see my calendar?

Only if you choose to allow calendar access. Dayweave reads events on the day you are planning, so it can avoid putting tasks on top of other commitments. It does not change or delete events in your phone's calendar. You can turn this access off in Dayweave or your phone's settings.

3. What if I add tasks from a photo?

When you choose a photo of a written list, Dayweave uses a Google text-reading tool to find words in the picture. The picture and the words it reads are processed on your phone, not sent to Google for reading. You review and edit the suggested tasks before saving anything.

Google's text-reading tool may send Google limited technical information, such as your device and app details and how the tool performs. Google uses this information to maintain and improve the tool. This is different from sending your picture or planner entries to Google. You can read Google's privacy policy for more information.

4. What about reminders?

If you allow notifications, Dayweave can display the name of a task or routine when it is time for a reminder. Someone looking at your lock screen may see that text, depending on your phone settings. You can turn notifications off at any time.

5. What happens when I share or save a backup?

Nothing is shared automatically. You can choose to share a plan image or routine template, or save a backup of your planner data. Once you send a file to another app, person, or storage service, it is handled under their rules. Backups may contain private notes, so choose where you keep them carefully.

6. Do you show ads or track what I do?

Dayweave does not include an advertising service or a developer-run tracking account. The Google photo-reading tool can send the limited technical information described above. This website has no visitor tracking scripts or ad trackers. The home page can display a lifestyle photo loaded from Unsplash. When the photo loads, Unsplash can receive basic connection information such as your IP address. If you prefer not to load the photo, you can block images in your browser; the page will still work. See Unsplash's privacy policy. GitHub, which hosts this website, may process basic visit information under its own privacy statement.

7. How can I delete my information?

You can delete tasks and routines in Dayweave. Uninstalling the app normally removes its private data from your phone. If you saved or shared a backup, remove that copy separately from wherever you kept it. Export a backup first if you want to keep your plans when changing phones.

8. Does Dayweave work for children?

Dayweave is a general daily planner. It has no social network or public profiles. If you share information through another app, that other app has its own rules.

9. Questions or changes?

For questions about this policy or how Dayweave handles your information, email CONTACT_EMAIL_REPLACE_ME. If the app's features or data handling change, this policy will be updated, with a new date shown at the top.
